Caleido-scop is an independent, privately held company, focused on providing research & development, consulting and training services to animation studios, visual effects and post-production companies.
Founded in 2010 by computer graphics veterans, Caleido-scop's vision is to bring long-term and innovative solutions to its customers based on state of the art technologies.
Team
The team members are pioneers in the computer graphics industry who have worked for many major animation and FX studios (Sogitec, TDI, Médialab, Ex Machina, Mac Guff Ligne, The Bakery). They have managed R&D teams and published a number of articles.
The team is composed of Frédéric Cros, Thierry Lauthelier and Marc Jirou, who were joined by Geoff Levner in 2011 and Lionel Baboud in 2012.
